It was nice out late this morning. This was painted plein air today in Ken Caryl Valley near a spot that I occasionally hike. The patterns and subtle colors were attractive. There's just nothing that beats painting from life. It's a bit of a hassle, but always worth it, whether or not the painting's a success.
