This is another enlargement of a previous study. As I painted this I recalled vividly the co mingling of senses that made this hike so pleasant. The cool crisp air and distant smell of burning wood and leaves from someones campsite. The glorious color and sound of rustling leaves....Pastel painting, 18 x 24
